ENDOHEPATOLOGY: Consensus Conference Proceeding
Scientific Rationale
Endohepatology has experienced exponential growth in recent years, also thanks to the arrival of new technologies that have enabled additional diagnostic and therapeutic approaches.In this context, new indications and promising applications have emerged that nevertheless require clinical confirmation, multidisciplinary shared pathways, and technical standardization. The V edition of the i‑EUS Consensus Conference was recently held and explored these topics with contributions from international experts across various disciplines who discussed specific areas. The outcome is a document composed of the statements that were debated, agreed upon, and voted on by the experts, which can serve as a solid scientific foundation for our future clinical activity. To allow the widest dissemination and sharing of the results, i‑EUS is organizing a series of meetings to review and further explore the steps taken so far. The i‑EUS Consensus “deep dive” in Endohepatology consists of four web meetings aimed at gastroenterologists, endoscopists, hepatologists, surgeons, and radiologists who wish to stay updated on rapidly evolving topics.
